This film was based on the 1993 murder case of Bobby Kent by his schoolmates in high school who was fed up with his bullying. They bring Bobby to a swamp where they all took turns torturing and beating him to death.The incident left the community in shock and the teenagers responsible were convicted of the brutal crime.
This psychological drama was based on the 1954 Parker-Hulme murder case, where 16-year old Pauline Parker and 15-year-old Juliet Hulme were arrested for murdering Pauline’s mother. It was found that the girls had bludgeoned Pauline’s mother to death with a rock.
The movie is based on the story of Aileen Wuornos, a known female killer who targeted men she claimed had harassed or raped her. The film shows her background, revealing that she was abandoned as a child and that she had to sell her body at a very young age in order to survive.

The movie is based on a series of theft and home invasion committed by a group of teens. The criminal’s names were changed in the movie because they were still minors but most of the celebrity victims have made an appearance. Paris Hilton, for one, even allowed to let some scenes be filmed in her home.
Catch Me If You Can
The movie is based on the story of Frank Abagnale, a con man who was able to pose as a pilot, doctor, and lawyer and get away with forging checks. A determined FBI agent pursues him until he finally gets caught. Just like how the movie ended, the real Frank Abagnale ended as an FBI adviser who helps the FBI prevent other people from committing the same frauds he did.
The movie is based on Lee Boyd Molvo and his father figure John Allen Muhammad, who went on a week-long shooting spree known as the Beltway sniper attacks of 2002. The title came from the fact that they shot random civilians through the back window of their blue Chevrolet caprice.
The movie is based on the Abscam operation where the FBI used a swindler to bust politicians taking bribes. The swindler in real life was known to be Mel Weinberg. The names and some details in the film were different but the general story line were based on events that happened in real life.
