Aerosmith Poster Review

by
Rock and The King

"For those of us that remember the painful years of 1979 through 1984 when Aerosmith had broken up, I would like to nominate Tim Collins, the band's manager and the man who brought the Boston Bad Boys back together, for a "sixth-man" Aerosmith poster. I love this band and every song that they have ever produced. Steven Tyler can name my next child. With that said, I might be a little biased. However, the current crop of Aerosmith posters has decades of experience and a wad of cash backing their very professional production. Some may claim that Aerosmith approaches rock poster and rock music perfection. In my book, they have arrived."

"Since Areosmith's comeback in the 1980's, their image has revolved around the unity of their band and the emotional power of rock music. Graphics never really caught on with this group, so the band's posters only show the Aerosmith logo and its five members in a variety photos. Of course, group's front man, Steven Tyler, gets several candid live shots due to his charismatic antics on stage and off. However, the power and longevity of Aerosmith comes from the synergy of five great rock artists and friends working together, doing what they love. If you hear any other story, they're just j-j-jaded."
